Role summary

Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Data Analyst for its Claims team in North Carolina. This remote role involves performing data analysis, auditing, and reconciliation to support the Claims Department. Responsibilities include developing and distributing reports, reconciling data flow, identifying discrepancies, ensuring correct funding sources, and maintaining data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in behavioral/mental health, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree in a related field and experience in data management and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Data Analyst to join our Claims team! The Data Analyst performs data analysis, auditing, and reconciliation support to the Claims Department. The Data Analyst will assist the Claims Department with all activities including, but not limited to, developing data reports as requested, sending claims related reports to various internal staff and external stakeholders, tracking various claims-related reporting deadlines, and recommending changes in processes if applicable.

On a typical day, you might:

- Maintain schedule of reporting and distribute reports to departmental staff and internal/external stakeholders as needed.
Reconcile data flow between processing systems; identify and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure claims have processed to the correct funding source. Communicate with Trillium’s Utilization Management Department for necessary fund source adjustments on authorizations.
- Work closely with colleagues to evaluate data, identify data related problems, investigate and resolve problems.
- Ensure that data from reports is presented in a user-friendly format and made accessible.
- Ensure all reports are submitted within assigned deadlines.

Ensures high quality data is collected and ensures integrity of the data.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience in Behavioral/Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse services field; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must reside within North Carolina
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a Human Services field (such as Psychology, Social Work, etc.)
  • Prefer experience in the areas of data analysis, data management, statistics, reporting, and use of databases.
