Sr. Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Troxler is looking for an Sr. Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for designing real-time micro-controller systems for test and measurement equipment. They will also develop PC applications for testing and data collection. The position will work with cross-functional teams to create fully functional systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Embedded software development, maintenance, and validation for embedded systems and their interaction with laboratory equipment

· Work on cross functional teams to develop prototypes, new products or redesign legacy products.

· Create PC applications to improve workflows of manufacturing and testing processes.

· Responsible for the execution and implementation of engineering change orders (ECO).

Prerequisite Skills and Education

· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.

· 8+ years of embedded systems development experience.

· Experience with C/C++ and Python

· Knowledge of real time embedded systems

· Experience with I/O communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART

· Experience with embedded Linux

· Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills.

· Good communication skills.

Additional Skills Suggested

· Experience with UI development

· Experience with database management (MongoDB)

· Experience with MQTT

· Experience with schematic / PCB design in Altium
