Principal Flight Software Engineer
Role summary
True Anomaly is seeking a Principal Flight Software Engineer to be a technical authority on spacecraft software. This role involves owning architecture, setting standards, and driving flight software development from concept to orbit. Responsibilities include leading the design of safety-critical embedded software, defining the Command Telemetry Database architecture, establishing engineering standards, and architecting simulation environments. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in embedded systems, low-level firmware, and safety-critical software, with deep expertise in device drivers and real-time embedded systems. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, along with knowledge of various communication protocols and RTOS platforms, is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is necessary, with a Master's degree preferred.
