Role summary
The Lead Data Scientist/Sr. Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing data products like NEM, Project Hubble, and Network Almanac, which support critical business functions such as maintenance optimization, capex planning, and energy efficiency. This hybrid role requires strong programming skills in Python and SQL, expertise in data visualization tools (Looker, Qlik, Tableau), and experience with machine learning techniques. The analyst will also provide data and analytics support to business units like FP&A, Real Estate, and Cost Assurance, focusing on data modeling, insights generation, and identifying opportunities for operational expense reduction and P&L profiling within WLS cell sites. Prior telecom experience is a plus.

Visualization: Looker, Qlik, Dashboard development/maintenance experience.
Mandatory: Teradata, Tableau
Maintain data products such as NEM (Network Equipment Maintenance for WLS) and Project Hubble & Network Almanac (WLS revenue and opex dataset). These data products enable multiple use cases ranging from maintenance dollar optimization, capex planning, and energy efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance the Qlik and Tableau dashboards (Tableau will eventually be converted to Looker or Qlik)
- Provide business support (FP&A, Real estate, cost assurance teams) for data/analytics needs
- Data modelling and insights analytics to manage equipment expenses and identify opportunities for Opex reduction for WLN operations and P&L profiling of WLS cell sites.
- Prior telecom exposure will be great.
