Freelance Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new product features with a focus on frontend technologies
• Ensure high-quality UI, performance, and responsiveness across devices
• Collaborate asynchronously with a small, distributed team
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from design to deployment
• Occasionally contribute to backend development as required
• Maintain code quality and participate in code reviews
• Stay current with best practices in frontend and full stack development
• Contribute ideas to improve product functionality and user experience

Skills And Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering production code in a full stack capacity
• Advanced proficiency in Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks and responsive design
• Experience with backend development and integration
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in an async, remote environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience building AI-powered features is a plus
