Sign up to see compensation estimatePosition Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control, data analysis, and e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in profit loss management, project management, and process improvement.
Job Functions:
- Analyze and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to generate insights.
- Implement inventory control best practices to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Work with 3PL providers to ensure accurate inventory counts and timely shipments.
- Support retail management by providing accurate inventory forecasts.
- Utilize MRP systems to manage material requirements planning effectively.
- Communicate cross-functionally with the sales and marketing team about overstocked or understocked inventory, and other supply chain issues.
- Maintain internal sales forecast based on industry trends, economic climate, market competition and seasonality, among other factors.
Job Qualifications:
- Korean language proficiency is required.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills with a focus on inventory management.
- Advanced Excel skills required; must have an advanced knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP function.
- Some travel is required (up to 10%).
- Experience in e-commerce inventory operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP for querying databases required.
- Knowledge of logistics and retail management processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Prior experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
