
Platform Engineer
Role summary
Uline is seeking a Platform Engineer to support the creation and maintenance of its enterprise platform solutions. This role involves planning, automating, and deploying platforms for microservices, building secure CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring automated testing workflows. The engineer will own and support software packages, focusing on reliability and performance, and will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing platform health and security. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm) and DevSecOps tools (JFrog Xray, SonarQube, Red Hat ACS). Strong understanding of network, DNS, and security fundamentals is essential. This is an on-site, full-time role.

Position Responsibilities
- Plan, automate and deploy the platforms that support our enterprise microservices.
- Build and maintain secure, efficient CI / CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
- Own and support the software packages you manage, with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
- Monitor and continuously optimize platform health and security.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker Swarm.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools like JFrog Xray, SonarQube and Red Hat ACS, or similar.
- Kubestronaut certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of network, DNS and security fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.
