Role summary

The Recruiting Lead is a senior talent acquisition expert responsible for enterprise-level hiring initiatives. Summary
The Recruiting Lead serves as a senior recruiting and talent acquisition expert, supporting enterprise-level hiring initiatives while acting as a trusted advisor to recruiters, HR partners, and hiring managers. This role leads recruiting projects, improves recruiting processes, ensures compliance, and delivers high-quality hiring outcomes with minimal supervision. The position combines hands-on full-cycle recruiting with strategic insight, reporting, and operational leadership without direct supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a recruiting subject matter expert, providing guidance, best practices, and coaching to recruiters, HR partners, and hiring managers
  • Lead and coordinate recruiting initiatives, including process improvements, training programs, and system or reporting enhancements
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition approval through onboarding across a variety of roles
  • Ensure recruiting standards are consistently met, including:
  • Job postings completed within 36 hours of final approval
  • Strategic use of internal and external postings
  • Proper coordination of relocation processes, approvals, and budgets
  • Completion of organizational announcements no later than the employee's start date
  • Accurate maintenance of recruiting trackers and status reports
  • Develop, maintain, and update recruiting standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and company-wide recruiting resources
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience
  • Prepare and deliver timely, accurate recruiting reports, including workforce metrics, recruiting dashboards, bonus tracking, and relocation reporting
  • Monitor recruiting-related expenses (job advertising, agencies, relocation, events) to support cost-effective hiring
  • Partner closely with leadership to communicate recruiting progress, risks, and workforce challenges
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and internal employment laws, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate FTE and agency headcount aligned with approved budgets
  • Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and external agencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in recruiting or HR
  • Prior experience leading recruiting initiatives, projects, or process improvements
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership abilities

Preferred:

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
