Role summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for a 3+ month contract, fully onsite in Brentwood, CA. This role focuses on enhancing recruiting operations and onboarding processes by partnering with hiring managers and HR teams. Responsibilities include coordinating daily recruiting activities, implementing best practices, streamlining workflows, developing resources, monitoring trends, leading onboarding programs, and supporting employee relations and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, or HR operations, strong organizational and creative skills, and proficiency with ATS and Microsoft Office.

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner for a contract position fully onsite in Brentwood, CA. This role will involve working closely with hiring managers and HR teams to enhance recruiting operations and ensure a smooth onboarding process. The contract is set for 3+ months, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for recruiting operations, balancing daily scheduling, communication, and long-term process improvements.
  • Partner with hiring managers to coach, train, and implement best practices in talent acquisition that support long-term workforce planning.
  • Act as a change agent by identifying opportunities to streamline recruiting and onboarding workflows and introducing innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Develop tools, templates, and resources that enhance efficiency and improve the candidate and new-hire experience.
  • Monitor emerging trends in recruiting operations, onboarding, and employer branding to strengthen the talent strategy.
  • Lead the planning and execution of structured, welcoming onboarding programs.
  • Continuously refine the onboarding journey by gathering and analyzing feedback from new hires and managers.
  • Support employee relations by helping address questions, concerns, and policy interpretations in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Assist with administering HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in HR projects such as engagement initiatives, culture programs, or process improvements.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR operations, or a related HR function.
  • Proven ability to manage complex scheduling and operational logistics with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging candidate and employee experiences.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and other tools that support recruiting and HR operations.
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range of $35 to $40 per hour, with around 0% travel time required.
