Arabesque Conservatory of Music is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Salesforce expertise to enhance their software development and integration capabilities. The role involves identifying technical solutions, performing full-stack development across various technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, SQL, PHP), and specializing in Salesforce customization using Apex, SOQL, and LWC. Responsibilities include ensuring security and compliance, integrating third-party services via APIs, developing and testing code within CI/CD pipelines, optimizing application performance, and supporting Salesforce users. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Salesforce development and administration experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to innovation and best practices.

Arabesque Conservatory of Music is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Salesforce experience to work on evolving software development needs and integrations. As a Senior Software Engineer with Arabesque, you will work closely with the CTO and management teams to:

  • Identify Solutions:

Explore issues and bottlenecks with the team, then plan technical solutions using existing and new software services.
- Full Stack Software Development: Plan, design, build, test and deploy features to continuously improve internal and public-facing software applications using a variety of technologies including HTML, CSS/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, SQL, PHP.
- Develop Salesforce:

Customize Salesforce solutions to meet business needs using custom objects, custom fields, Flows, triggers, Apex, SOQL, Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, record types, validation rules and other Salesforce features.
- Secure:

Ensure solutions meet security standards and compliance requirements, optimize sharing settings and access control, roles and permissions.
- Integrate:

Rely on 3rd-party integrations where necessary and optimal, ensure seamless integrations and secure data handling with APIs (internal and external), and services.
- Develop & Test:

Ensure code solutions are well-documented and thoroughly tested via manual and automated processes locally and within CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize:

Iterate on applications and solutions to reduce performance bottlenecks and identify improvements in process, automation, monitoring and visibility.
- Support

: Support Salesforce users via process improvements, report building and management, dashboard updates, email template preparation and organization, and general troubleshooting.
- Innovate: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date on software engineering technologies, services, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • You have experience building web-based software applications from start to finish, backend to frontend.
  • You have experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Sandboxes, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Salesforce CLI (formerly SFDX)
  • You can troubleshoot and solve complex problems by leveraging various debugging techniques.
  • You’re comfortable meeting with users to help diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • You look forward to collaborating with the founders, managers, and users to identify issues and establish plans to improve and optimize workflows according to changing business needs.
  • You maintain a meticulous attention to detail and have an eye for security and good testing practices.
  • You regularly think ahead, explore edge cases, and plan for the technical future.
  • You’re comfortable leaning into AI solutions to help speed up development, while being mindful of code readability, maintainability, organization, security, and best practices.
  • You’ve developed and administered in the Salesforce ecosystem for at least one year.
