## Job Description

The Senior Program Manager in the Office for Financial Success, a unit within the Student Financial Aid Office, will lead the design, execution, and assessment of proactive financial wellness strategies that support enrollment, reduce financial barriers, and strengthen student success outcomes. Working collaboratively across enrollment management, student success, and academic affairs, this position will help position Mizzou as a national leader in holistic affordability and financial empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with financial aid, admissions and other enrollment management teams to integrate financial education and coaching into recruitment and onboarding experiences
  • Support prospective students and families in understanding affordability, aid options, and long-term financial planning
  • Ensure financial success strategies enhance enrollment yield and informed decision-making
  • Lead financial wellness programming for current students, including workshops, one-on-one coaching, digital resources, and targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with financial aid, advising, and student support units to provide coordinated, student-centered financial guidance
  • Use data to inform strategy, identify gaps, and continuously improve services
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, stakeholders, and external audiences

## Shift

M-F 8am-5pm, some evening and weekend travel required

## Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

## Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in higher education, public administration, social work, finance, or a related field strongly preferred.

4+ years of progressive experience in student financial wellness, financial aid, enrollment management, student success, or a related area.

Demonstrated experience designing and leading cross-functional programs or initiatives.

Strong knowledge of financial aid systems, student affordability challenges, and financial education best practices.

Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.

## Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 annually

Grade: GGS-011
