Role summary

The Spirituality, Culture, and Health (SCH) Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of SCH program projects. This role involves managing budgets, staff, and stakeholders, alongside program development and evaluation, financial management, and staff/student leadership. The Program Manager will act as a liaison with researchers, funders, and community partners to achieve program objectives. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion or a related field, 3 years of experience managing workforce development programs for underrepresented populations in health sciences, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Indigenous education, health systems, Native American organizations, public health functions, arts-based research, and experience in Native American communities are essential.

Position Summary

This position will strategically oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of multiple projects and initiatives affiliated with the Spirituality, Culture and Health (SCH) program, including managing budgets, staff, and interest-holders. Key duties involve program development and evaluation, financial management, leading and mentoring program staff/students, and ensuring programs meet objectives on time and within scope. This position will interface with researchers, funders and community partners as a primary liaison for SCH to meet research/community/grant objectives.

Experience working with Native American populations;

Experience working in health promotion (e.g. with Tribes, health departments, public schools and/or out-of-school program organizations);

Experience with grant writing, project management and grant reporting

Familiarity with interdisciplinary or community-based research approaches

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development in holistic wellness, including familiarity with mind-body-spirit healing modalities
