Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial planning, risk management, and reporting. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and corporate finance activities
- Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, governmental accounting standards, and SOX regulations across all financial practices
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, profit & loss statements, and audit documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
- Drive business development initiatives by analyzing market trends and identifying new revenue opportunities
- Supervise finance teams responsible for financial analysis, technical accounting, and corporate accounting functions
- Utilize advanced financial software to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy
- Cultivate strong relationships with external partners such as auditors, regulators, and financial institutions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within complex organizations or non-profit entities
- Extensive knowledge of financial sales strategies and negotiation techniques to maximize revenue streams
- Strong understanding of governmental accounting standards alongside non-profit accounting practices
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Proficiency in financial software applications and general ledger accounting systems
- Deep familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and risk management frameworks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Exceptional leadership qualities with a track record of building high-performing finance teams
- Strong technical accounting skills including corporate finance and public accounting principles
- Outstanding communication skills for clear financial report writing and stakeholder engagement
