Location:
Raleigh, NC / Foster City, CA (Hybrid) (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Industry:
Biotechnology / Pharmaceuticals / Tech

The Role

We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented
Technical Program Manager (TPM)
to oversee a high-priority portfolio of data engineering, cloud migration, and Generative AI initiatives.

As a TPM, you won’t just manage a single project; you will drive the
technical roadmap
that connects our data infrastructure to our AI/ML aspirations. You will navigate the complexities of a regulated environment (GxP/HIPAA) while ensuring our engineering teams have the clarity and runway they need to build scalable, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Program Strategy & Roadmap:
Own the end-to-end delivery of a multi-year program involving Data Integration, Migration (Snowflake/Databricks), and GenAI automation.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration:
Align Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Legal/Compliance teams to ensure seamless delivery across global workstreams.
- Technical Governance:
Oversee the architectural alignment of AWS-based data pipelines, ensuring scalability and strict adherence to data governance and GxP standards.
- Risk & Dependency Management:
Proactively identify "bottlenecks" between infrastructure and application teams; manage vendor relationships and global stakeholder expectations.
- Agile Transformation:
Standardize Agile/Scrum methodologies across the program to improve velocity, transparency, and audit readiness.
- Executive Communication:
Translate complex technical milestones into clear, value-driven updates for senior leadership and steering committees.

Qualifications

- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience:
7+ years of experience in technical leadership or program management, specifically within data-heavy or AI-driven environments.
- Domain Expertise:
Proven track record in
Life Sciences, Pharma, or Healthcare
(understanding of GxP, HIPAA, and clinical data flow is a major plus).
- Technical Literacy:
You can hold your own in a room of architects. You understand Python, SQL, ETL/ELT patterns, and the nuances of AWS cloud ecosystems.
- Problem Solving:
A master of "unblocking" teams—you thrive on turning ambiguous business requirements into structured, executable technical programs.

Why You’ll Love This Role

You will be at the heart of our digital transformation, bridging the gap between "big data" and "big insights." Whether you are based in the Research Triangle or Silicon Valley, you will be part of a culture that values technical riger, patient-centricity, and innovation.
