Embedded Software Engineer

*Utah Scientific Inc.,* is looking to recruit an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team ASAP. Applicant must be local to the Salt Lake City area (or willing to relocate) because working in the office is a must.

Position available is full-time Entry-level to Experienced-level Embedded Software Engineer.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The right candidate will be given the opportunity to grow.

Required Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related area. Experienced-level engineers need at least 4-6 yrs. of experience in the field or related area.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy real-time embedded control systems in a distributed environment. Communications and control done over various network communications protocols.
• Some windows application development GNU C, Visual Studio. (Languages C/C++/C#)
• Maintenance of existing windows applications is required.

Reports to: VP Engineering

Required Skills:

• C/C++ development experience.
• Embedded System software development with ARM processors.
• Network Socket communications experience.

Bonus Skill Set:

• Experience in the Broadcast Telecommunications Industry.
• Embedded Linux experience at the application/driver level.
• Embedded real-time control design and implementation experience over network and serial connections.
• General development with Nodejs and React.
• IOS and Android experience.

Pay: Negotiable, commensurate with experience and engineer level.
