Role summary

The T-6 COMBS Data Analyst provides data analysis and reporting support for the T-6 Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) program. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting logistics, material, and performance data to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. The analyst will work with logistics, supply chain, and PMO teams, utilizing systems like NALCOMIS and OOMA, and maintaining dashboards and reports. Key responsibilities include tracking material readiness, supporting forecasting, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Description
SUMMARY:
The T-6 COMBS Data Analyst provides data analysis and reporting support for the T-6 Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) program across all sites. This position reports directly to the T-6 COMBS Data Analyst Lead and is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting logistics, material, and performance data to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and readiness. The Data Analyst works closely with the COMBS Logistics, Supply Chain, and Program Management Office (PMO) teams to ensure data integrity and support data-driven decision-making.
Job Duties
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather and analyze supply chain, maintenance, and logistics data from systems such as NALCOMIS, OOMA, or equivalent.
  • Maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools for tracking material readiness, consumption trends, and inventory performance.
  • Support the Data Analyst Lead in producing recurring and ad-hoc performance reports for PMO and leadership reviews.
  • Track material fill rates, backorder trends, requisition timeliness, and procurement lead times.
  • Assist in forecasting material requirements and demand trends based on historical data and operational schedules.
  • Monitor and validate data accuracy within logistics, supply, and maintenance databases.
  • Identify anomalies, missing data, or inconsistencies, and coordinate corrections with site personnel.
  • Assist in preparing Over and Above (O&A) tracking reports, material disposition data, and cost analysis.
  • Develop and maintain standardized templates for reporting and analytics across COMBS sites.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives using trend and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting of TCTO/TD/TCI material data.
  • Provide technical and administrative support during audits, inspections, and data calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics performance and data-driven operations.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, logistics, aviation, or supply chain operations preferred.
  • Experience using ERP, logistics, or maintenance systems (e.g., NALCOMIS, OOMA, IMDS) is a plus.
  • Experience in a military or contractor aviation environment preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required Skills include the ability to:)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Slide Development to include charts and graphs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Management, Query development
  • Familiarity with business intelligence or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and maintenance data concepts (aviation preferred).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple data projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and remote locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, data structures, and analytical techniques.

The remote salary range for this position is between $26.44 - 31.25 hr. depending on area and experience
