
Program Manager- Aerospace
Role summary
VAC Developments Ltd, a Canadian Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company, is seeking a Program Manager in Oakville, ON. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing customer orders, coordinating internal departments, monitoring schedules, communicating status, and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in customer service, program management, or account management, with a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and ERP/MRP systems. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Program Manager to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role acts as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and external suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, effective program execution, and high levels of customer satisfaction and they report to Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned aerospace customers
- Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate with internal departments (production, quality, engineering, shipping) to meet customer requirements
- Monitor and manage program schedules, ensuring milestones and delivery commitments are met
- Communicate order status, delays, and risks proactively to customers
- Review and interpret customer purchase orders, contracts, and technical requirements
- Support production planning and demand forecasting activities
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and non-conformances in a timely manner
- Participate in internal and customer meetings, including program reviews
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems
General Functions
- Act as a bridge between customer expectations and operational execution
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, customer requirements, and quality systems (e.g., AS9100)
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and response times
- Assist with quotation follow-ups and new business opportunities
- Collaborate with supply chain to mitigate risks and manage lead times
- Support audits and documentation requirements as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in customer service, program management, or account management (preferably in aerospace or manufacturing)
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes (machining, heat treat, finishing is an asset)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Visual)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
