The day-to-day:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, includingstatements of work, sponsorship agreements, insertion orders and custom content/influenceragreements, terms of service for generative AI platforms/tools, NDAs, data protectionagreements, SaaS agreements and other related service or license agreements.
  • Training, educating, and advising teams about relevant legal issues and risks, approvalprocesses, and company policies and procedures across various departments.
  • Conducting trademark clearance searches for developed trademarks, taglines/slogans, designs,and other consumer-facing content.
  • Research and evaluation of current territory-specific laws, rules and regulations relating toemerging digital media issues and technology.
  • Internal auditing of operational best practices and compliance with client agreements, includingvendor reviews and auditing of internal processes and contracts.
  • Helping improve and/or develop our standard form agreements and/or processes.
  • Providing support for and collaborating with the rest of the global Legal team on a wide variety ofmatters, as needed and assigned

    • The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

  • BA/BS degree and J.D. degree with admission to one or more state bars in good standingrequired; NY Bar admission preferred. Candidates who are currently pending admission will beconsidered and are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm working in digitalmedia, advertising, and/or data protection industry(ies); candidates with experience in theseareas as an intern or as a part of coursework are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of, general understanding and/or demonstrated interest or coursework related todigital advertising, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, data privacy laws and informationsecurity principles.
  • A strong and demonstrated interest in the digital world, social media, and emerging technology.
  • Prior experience related to technology licensing and/or artificial intelligence, a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills (including effective communication oflegal advice to non-lawyers).
  • Quick learner with a strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and attention todetail.
  • Flexibility and readiness to work on a broad variety of matters and experience in finding business-forward solutions.
