Job Title: UI/UX Designer – Multi-Tenant POS Platform

Location: Hybrid OR Remote Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to lead the experience design for our multi-tenant Point of Sale (POS) web portals. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and intuitive user experiences. You will be responsible for translating operational workflows into actionable user stories, crafting high-fidelity mockups, and collaborating closely with our engineering team to ensure designs are optimized for a React-based architecture.

The ideal candidate understands the unique challenges of multi-tenancy—such as role-based access control, scalable data architecture, and customizable tenant branding—and can design lightning-fast, user-friendly transactional interfaces in a dynamic, high-velocity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Mockups: Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that simplify complex POS operations (e.g., checkout flows, inventory management, and multi-tenant administration).
  • User Stories & Rapid Iteration: Translate high-level requirements into detailed, actionable user stories. You won't get bogged down in heavy process; instead, you will define clear UX acceptance criteria to keep the development team moving quickly.
  • Multi-Tenancy UX Strategy: Design scalable interfaces that accommodate diverse tenant needs, managing complex hierarchies, permissions, and localized branding without sacrificing a unified core experience.
  • React-Aware Design: Leverage a fundamental understanding of React component architecture to create modular, reusable design systems. Ensure that all designs are technically feasible and communicate effectively with front-end developers regarding state management, transitions, and component libraries.
  • User-Centric Iteration: Conduct rapid usability testing on core POS workflows to identify friction points, favoring continuous, aggressive iteration over rigid perfectionism.

Required Qualifications

  • Startup Experience: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment. You embrace a "move fast, break things, and iterate" philosophy, leaning into rapid prototyping and continuous deployment.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically focused on B2B SaaS, complex web applications, or enterprise software.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Point of Sale (POS) systems, transactional platforms, or e-commerce environments. Experience designing for multi-tenant architectures is highly preferred.
  • Technical Literacy: A fundamental understanding of modern web UX principles and React.js constraints. (You do not need to write code, but you must know how to design in a component-driven ecosystem).
  • Tooling: Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your process from initial user stories and wireframes to final, implemented mockups for web-based portals.

Bonus / Preferred Qualifications

  • Ticketing Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the primary and secondary live ticketing industry ecosystems (e.g., dynamic pricing structures, interactive seating charts, ticket lifecycle management, and inventory distribution).
