People Partner
Role summary
Via is seeking a People Partner to support its employee population in New York City. This role involves coaching managers, managing employee relations, handling onboarding and offboarding, supporting employee development, implementing policies, and maintaining HR systems. The People Partner will contribute to strategic HR initiatives, focusing on learning & development, performance management, belonging, and inclusion. Key responsibilities include analyzing HR data to inform decisions, resolving employee relations issues, and partnering with legal. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in people operations, a strong culture-carrying ability, a proactive and empathetic approach, and experience with HRIS, payroll, and performance management tools. A Bachelor's degree is required.

As a People Partner, you will support the Via employee population in a variety of functions including but not limited to coaching and developing new managers, managing employment relations, onboarding and off-boarding employees, supporting continuous employee development, implementing new company policies, and maintaining internal systems. Ultimately, you will ensure our People Team initiatives run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment. This role is expected to have a daily presence in our NYC office. Working with employees in-person is a central component of this role.
