Role summary
Vikara AI is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems. This remote role involves working across the full AI stack, from model development to production deployment, with high ownership from design to deployment. You will develop APIs and backend services, collaborate with teams to ship features, and manage cloud, database, and infrastructure components. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering experience with Python, MySQL, or JavaScript, familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases, Linux, Git, and AI/ML.
