Technical Writer Co-op (January to August 2027)
Role summary
Visier is seeking a Technical Writer Co-op for a January to August 2027 term. This hybrid role, based in Vancouver, involves authoring user documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and interviewing subject matter experts to create helpful content that enhances user experience. The co-op will learn about the release cycle and documentation principles, with opportunities to create accompanying visuals. Ideal candidates possess excellent communication and writing skills, the ability to learn complex ideas quickly, and a passion for continuous learning. Experience with MadCap Flare, Adobe Illustrator, or video editing software is a plus.

Good documentation is vital to the overall success of our products. Working closely with members of the Product Documentation team, you will be introduced to the release cycle and learn what it takes to write helpful user documentation. Our ultimate goal is to give you the mentorship, training, and work experience you need to start your technical writing career successfully!
This role is located at our Yaletown head office where we work a hybrid Tues - Thurs in office and Mon & Fri - WFH!

The regional pay band for this role is $3600 - $4500 per month.
The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
