Role summary

Seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Security Engineer for a temporary contract role focused on securing critical infrastructure. The role involves hands-on configuration and administration of OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, industrial protocols), deployment of the Armis platform for OT/IoT visibility, integration with MDR/SOC providers, and Active Directory implementation within OT environments. Experience with OT security monitoring platforms like Claroty, Nozomi Networks, or Dragos is required. Candidates with utilities, water, or public sector experience are preferred. The role requires independent operation and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes within a defined project timeline.

We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Security Engineer / ICS-focused contractor for a temporary engagement

.

The primary focus of this role includes:

  • Configuration and administration of OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, industrial protocols)
  • Deployment and administration of the Armis platform for OT/IoT visibility
  • Integration of OT monitoring into our existing MDR/SOC provider
  • Active Directory implementation and identity integration within OT environments

This role will support critical infrastructure systems within our municipal environment, so candidates with utilities, water, or public sector experience are strongly preferred.

We are looking for candidates who can operate independently, have hands-on experience in both OT engineering and cybersecurity, and can deliver measurable outcomes within a defined project timeline.
