About the Role

Vivalink is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team at the intersection of product engineering and customer deployment.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will:

  • Build and enhance mobile applications for wearable health devices
  • Integrate real-time biometric data pipelines
  • Work directly with enterprise customers to deploy and scale solutions

You will act as a key bridge between product, engineering, and customers, ensuring successful delivery from development through real-world implementation.

What You’ll DoMobile & Product Engineering

  • Design and develop mobile applications (Flutter preferred) for iOS and Android
  • Implement robust data synchronization, retry logic, and real-time data handling
  • Integrate with BLE devices and manage device communication workflows
  • Consume REST and WebSocket APIs for real-time and asynchronous data flows
  • Collaborate with backend teams on data ingestion and system integration

Customer Deployment & Forward Engineering

  • Serve as a technical point of contact during enterprise customer onboarding
  • Lead technical discussions with customer stakeholders (IT, security, clinical teams)
  • Configure and deploy solutions in customer environments
  • Troubleshoot issues across mobile, device, and backend systems
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and integration guides

What We’re Looking ForMust-Have

  • 4+ years of mobile development experience (Flutter preferred, native iOS/Android also considered)
  • Experience building and shipping production mobile applications
  • Experience integrating with APIs (REST, WebSocket) and handling real-time data
  • Experience working with device integrations (e.g., BLE or similar)
  • Strong understanding of data synchronization, retries, and edge-case handling in mobile apps
  • Ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across systems

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Flutter (Dart) and state management (Riverpod, BLoC)
  • Experience working with time-series or high-volume data
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or SQL-based systems
  • Understanding of OLTP vs OLAP data patterns
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Fastlane, etc.)
  • Experience with Flutter platform channels / native integrations
  • Experience in healthcare, wearable devices, or IoT systems

Pay: $200,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
