Vivax-Metrotech develops and manufactures products for buried utility locating, fiber-optic cable locating, ferrous metal detection, coating analysis and performing ACVG surveys on cathodic protected pipes, finding sheath to ground faults on cables, inspecting the interior of pipes and ducts, and mapping of buried utilities.

At Vivax-Metrotech, we are seeking a driven Senior Product Manager with strong industry knowledge to lead strategic product initiatives across our inspection products division worldwide.
This position drives the global growth of inspection cameras through product strategy, sales support, and market expansion. The ideal candidate combines deep product expertise with frontline sales insight into translating customer needs into winning solutions and revenue-generating product inspection strategies.
You will be responsible for overseeing the product vision, roadmap implementation, and go-to-market strategy for the inspection camera, while acting as a strategic partner to global Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams.
Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
· Define and execute the Inspection product strategy aligned with Vivax Metrotech’s growth objectives.
· Own product roadmaps across hardware, software, and integrated solutions.
· Identify whitespace opportunities, new verticals, and revenue expansion strategies.
· Develop business cases for new product investments and enhancements.
Sales & Commercial Enablement
· Manages day-to-day progress of product.
· Partner closely with Sales leadership to support pipeline growth and competitive positioning.
· Translate field sales feedback into actionable product improvements.
· Participate in key customer meetings, strategic account discussions, and enterprise negotiations.
· Develop compelling product value propositions and pricing strategies.
· Support RFP responses, product demos, and high-impact customer presentations.
Market Intelligence & Customer Engagement
· Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and industry trend monitoring.
· Lead customer discovery initiatives with utilities, municipalities, contractors, and enterprise clients.
· Identify unmet market needs and align product innovation accordingly.
· Act as the “voice of the customer” internally.
Cross-Functional Execution
· Provides technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.
· Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
· Partner with Marketing on product launches, messaging, and campaign strategy.
Teamwork
· Balances team and individual responsibilities.
· Exhibits objectivity and openness to others’ views and welcomes feedback.
· Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
· 7–10+ years of experience in Product Management, with demonstrated commercial ownership.
· Prior experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or revenue-facing roles.
· Experience working with hardware-enabled software or industrial technology solutions.
· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
· Strong business acumen and financial modeling capability.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
