Data Analyst Volunteer
Role summary
U+ Toastmasters is seeking a Data Analyst Volunteer to help turn numbers into insights that support their mission. This volunteer role, funded by Canada Service Corps, offers real-world experience in data analysis, strengthening skills in tools like Excel and Google Sheets. The volunteer will work with datasets, analyze data for trends, create visualizations, and contribute to team projects in a collaborative, mission-focused environment. Ideal candidates are between 12-30 years old, enthusiastic, dependable, and willing to learn. Experience in data research or analysis and familiarity with spreadsheet software are considered bonus skills.

What You’ll Do
- Work with spreadsheets and large datasets

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to support our mission! Ideal candidates will have:
✔ Age between 12 - 30
✔ A positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔ Commitment to completing basic training
✔ Fluency in English
✔ Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if you’re over 18)
Bonus Skills
✔ Experience in data research or analysis
✔ Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or other data applications
✔ Fluency or strong proficiency in a language other than English
