AI Security Engineer
Role summary
VotalAI is seeking an AI Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in the San Francisco Bay Area. The engineer will be responsible for securing AI systems and applications by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, and designing robust security mechanisms. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the San Francisco Bay Area for an AI Security Engineer. This role involves evaluating and enhancing the security of AI systems and applications through advanced security practices. Key responsibilities include identifying and mitigating architectural and implementation vulnerabilities, conducting detailed application and network security assessments, designing security mechanisms for AI systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment. The AI Security Engineer will also lead threat modeling exercises, monitor systems for emerging threats, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge security strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Application Security to identify and resolve software vulnerabilities
- Experience with Network Security to protect systems from external and internal threats
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity practices including threat detection and attack mitigation
- Proficiency in Security Engineering to build robust and secure AI architectures
- Familiarity with Information Security policies, compliance frameworks, and reporting
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and communicate technical details effectively
- Experience with AI security or adversarial machine learning is highly desirable
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
