Software Engineering Intern
to help build
Hoops4Hope
, a social-impact project combining
basketball, livestreaming, and open-source technology
for community courts in
Tondo, Manila
.
The project includes:
- A
pickup basketball scheduling app
- Livestream integration
for games
- Real-time scoring systems
connected to smart hoops
- Open-source hardware and software
Responsibilities
- Help build the Hoops4Hope web/mobile platform
- Implement pickup game coordination and livestream features
- Use
AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.)
to accelerate development
- Contribute to an open-source engineering project
Preferred Skills
- Computer Science / Engineering student
- Familiarity with
JavaScript, React, or Python
- Comfortable using AI tools for coding and debugging
- Great opportunity for students interested in
