Role summary
Wayco is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer to build an autonomous AI operator for medical care in injury and accident cases within the MedLegal space in America. The role requires 2+ years of experience shipping at an early-stage startup, with strong full-stack skills in Python, backend development, and Postgres. Key responsibilities include building event-driven systems, async job orchestration, workflow engines, and production LLM integration for structured data extraction. Experience with telephony at scale (Twilio, ElevenLabs) and HIPAA-aware practices is essential. The engineer will work on Voice AI Agents, Case Orchestration, Document Intelligence, and a Command Center.

**Req’s:**
* 2+ years shipping at an early-stage startup, strong across the full stack (Python, Backend, Postgres)

* Production LLM integration — structured extraction, not chat wrappers
* Telephony experience in scale (Twilio, ElevenLabs)
* HIPAA-aware: encryption and etc

* **Document Intelligence** — LLM pipeline processing faxed records, handwritten notes, PDF bills.
* **Command Center** — role-based multi-tenant views, Postgres RLS.
