The engineer will design and build scalable frontend components for data visualization and dashboards, lead performance tuning for web applications handling large healthcare datasets, and ensure features comply with regulatory frameworks like HITRUST and ONC. The position requires deep proficiency in React (6+ years), Python, Java, and Golang (8+ years), along with experience in Kubernetes infrastructure (4+ years) and secure identity workflows (3+ years). The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to an Agile development process.

SUMMARY

This Senior Software Engineer brings deep architectural experience and a systems-thinking approach to full-stack development. With strong proficiency in React, Python, and scalable backend frameworks, they can architect complex workflows that connect user-facing applications with robust data pipelines and APIs. Their architectural decisions prioritize interoperability, security, and maintainability—particularly critical in healthcare technology. They collaborate seamlessly across engineering, product, and clinical teams, and actively participate in refining user stories, grooming technical tasks, and sharing knowledge during retrospectives. As a senior contributor, they are as comfortable mentoring as they are hands-on building.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Thrives in collaborative team environments and takes pride in mentoring junior team members by providing guidance, support, and best practices.
- Great Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Lead the design and build of reusable, scalable frontend components for data visualization and dashboards.
- Lead performance tuning and optimization of web applications across large healthcare datasets.
Collaborate with product and compliance teams to ensure features align with regulatory frameworks (e.g., HITRUST, ONC).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
- Java, Python & Golang (8+ yrs) – Built enterprise-grade APIs and service orchestration layers for high-availability systems.
- Iceberg & Data APIs (1–2 yrs) – Integrated backend services with Iceberg-backed lake house tables for real-time access.
- React (6+ yrs) – Led frontend architecture and ensured performance, accessibility, and reusability of components.
- Kubernetes Infrastructure (4+ yrs): Managed production clusters, implemented CI/CD integrations, autoscaling, and namespace separation using Kubernetes and Docker.
Secure Identity Workflows (3+ yrs): Customized Okta flows for app provisioning, and group-based access.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Pareto Intelligence.
  • Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Pareto Intelligence.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $76,000 to $135,200 with 5% annual targeted bonus. We do consider a wide range of factors when making offer decisions, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s relevant skills, training, experience, education and where applicable, licensure and certifications obtained. We also consider organizational and market factors when making offer decisions.
