IT Administrator

Well Life Medicine is seeking a reliable, practical IT & Compliance Administrator to help manage technology operations across our three clinic locations in Hillsboro, West Salem, and South Salem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to a small organization: improving inventory and procurement, keeping devices and networks well-managed, and supporting security/compliance efforts without unnecessary bureaucracy.

What you’ll do

• Own day-to-day administration of our Apple device fleet, including Apple Business Manager, device enrollment, and coordination with our MDM/environment
• Build and maintain a sane, accurate inventory system for laptops, phones, network gear, peripherals, and other IT assets
• Establish and improve procurement, receiving, deployment, replacement, and offboarding processes
• Administer and maintain UniFi networking across multiple clinic locations
• Provide occasional hands-on and remote tech support when needed
• Help coordinate PCI DSS-related controls, vendor documentation, and evidence gathering
• Assist with cybersecurity insurance applications, renewals, questionnaires, and related security documentation
• Maintain IT policies, standards, checklists, and internal documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and leadership on technology purchasing, renewals, and lifecycle planning
• Identify risks and recommend pragmatic improvements appropriate for a healthcare organization with fewer than 50 employees

What we’re looking for

• Experience supporting small-business or multi-site IT environments
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and Apple device lifecycle management
• Experience with UniFi network administration
• Strong practical skills in IT inventory, procurement, documentation, and vendor management
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, endpoint security basics, MFA, backups, patching, and general security hygiene
• Able to distinguish between real risk reduction and empty compliance theater
• Comfortable working independently and being the person who brings structure where there currently isn’t enough
• Available for occasional onsite visits to Hillsboro, West Salem, and South Salem when needed

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, multi-site clinics, or other regulated small organizations
• Experience with cybersecurity insurance questionnaires or audits
• Experience with MDM tools, identity/access management, and basic SaaS administration
• Flexible part-time schedule
• Mostly remote, with occasional onsite work as needed

Pay: $30.00 per hour
