Role summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to developing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software throughout the entire lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and efficient code, and optimizing existing systems. Responsibilities include API and backend system development, participation in code reviews, and working within Agile/Scrum frameworks. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or C#, and experience with web development frameworks, databases (SQL/NoSQL), API development, and version control systems (Git).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, web services, and backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to plan, prioritize, and deliver tasks efficiently.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or C#).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with web development frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, .NET, Node.js, React, Angular, or similar).
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and API development.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
