Role summary

About The Role
Conair is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Data Analyst to join its team. This role is pivotal in transforming complex operational data into actionable insights that drive improvements across service levels, costs, inventory management, and network performance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various supply chain functions, including Transportation, Warehousing, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, to support data-driven decision-making throughout the entire supply chain process. The role involves creating both ad-hoc and long-term data products, developing tools to automate and streamline processes, and conducting in-depth analysis to identify operational efficiencies. The analyst will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives by providing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and KPIs that empower stakeholders to optimize performance and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or operations
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and operational metrics (preferred)
- Experience working with ERP, WMS, TMS systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R (preferred)
- Experience supporting 3PL operations or multi-site distribution networks (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze supply chain data across demand planning, inventory, logistics, and warehousing functions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to monitor service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, OTIF, and cost-to-serve
- Identify trends, risks, and root causes impacting cost, service, and capacity to support proactive decision-making
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support business cases, network changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze volume trends, peak periods, and productivity metrics to optimize labor planning and shift schedules
- Create and update reports for internal stakeholders, translating operational data into clear insights
- Support reporting for customer-facing metrics and internal review processes
- Analyze freight spend, warehouse productivity, and inventory movements to identify efficiency opportunities and reduce total landed costs
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to develop analytical solutions that address business questions
- Support monthly and weekly operational reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Assist with data extraction and analysis from ERP, WMS, TMS, and planning systems such as SAP, Manhattan, or others
- Contribute to data governance and quality initiatives, supporting system implementations and upgrades by validating data and reporting outputs
