Role summary

WiSC Enterprises is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Acquisition Program Manager with 10-15 years of experience to provide advanced technical program support. This role involves full lifecycle systems engineering and program management for airborne and maritime systems, focusing on cost and schedule management, risk mitigation, and acquisition lifecycle support. Responsibilities include serving as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), leading risk management, supporting acquisition activities, guiding software development teams, and managing cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field and PMP certification are required, along with TS/SCI with POLY clearance. Experience in EVM, budget analysis, and leading engineering teams is essential.

Overview:

WiSC Enterprises is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer and Program Manager to provide advanced support for technical programs across the system lifecycle. This role focuses on program cost and schedule management, risk mitigation, acquisition lifecycle support, and engineering oversight for both airborne and maritime systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full lifecycle systems engineering and program management support for airborne and maritime programs, including software development, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
  • Serve as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) overseeing multi-million dollar development contracts, managing program budgets, earned value metrics, and integrated schedules.
  • Lead program risk management efforts, developing mitigation strategies and participating in technical issue resolution across engineering teams.
  • Support the planning, documentation, and coordination of contract acquisition activities, including budget development, purchase requests, and interagency agreements.
  • Guide software development and testing teams through system design, integration, and delivery phases, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance.
  • Deliver on-site advisory support to program offices for acquisition, financial, and strategic planning tasks.
  • Manage cross-functional teams through engineering, bid development, and system modifications across government and commercial portfolios.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • 10-15 years of experience in systems engineering, acquisition program management, and software development oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget analysis, cost estimation, earned value management (EVM), and schedule integration.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through technical development and program execution.
  • TS/SCI with POLY is required to start

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SIGINT systems, radar simulators, or airborne ISR platforms.
  • Experience in Agile project management environments (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Understanding of government acquisition processes, including documentation such as FS-7600, AF9, and DD-448.
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure-based development or cloud infrastructure implementation.
