Role summary

This is an urgent, onsite Manufacturing Automation Engineer role in Johns Creek, GA, focusing on AMR implementation and high-speed automation line design. The engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating solutions for complex design requirements, including proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Key duties involve conducting site assessments, validating AMR operations, supporting vendor integrations with WMS/MES/ERP systems, commissioning hardware, and coordinating with vendors for technical guidance and RFQs. The role requires experience in Medtech, FMCG, or industrial products automation, with expertise in Pick & Place, conveyor design, and material handling equipment. Project management and vendor coordination are also essential.

Manufacturing Automation Engineer (VERY URGENT)

Technical Keyword : Mechanical Automation/engineering, fixture design

Software Skillset : SolidWorks.

Key Roles & Responsibility :

  • Experience in Manufacturing Automation in field of Medtech, FMCG or industrial products
  • Experience in AMR, warehouse automation
  • Proficient in Pick & Place design
  • Proficient in high-speed automation line design
  • Proficient in Material handling equipment’s & SPM
  • Proficient in Conveyor design
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Must demonstrate a strong ability to conceptualize and create solutions for complex design requirements.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Experience in Proposal preparation, vendor co-ordination and implementing equipment on shop with help from suppliers.
  • Able to co-ordinate with Onsite offshore
  • Project Management experience

Required Skillset :

Expertise AMR Implementation on shop floor

selection of AMR, Expert on Field of AMR

Manufacturing Automation Experience, Pick & Place, Conveyor design, Bowl feeder selection

Conduct site assessment and operational survey for AMR

CAD Desing software- Solidworks, Autocad

Validate AMR operating zones, paths, storage locations, and docking areas.

Assess infrastructure readiness including floor conditions, lighting, obstacles, and Wi.Fi coverage.

Support vendors for gathering integration points with WMS/MES/ERP systems.

Support for Commission AMR hardware including initial checks, firmware updates, and Validation.

Support Vendor for Configure workflows: pickup, transport, drop.off, mission types.

Coordinate for Set up connectivity between AMRs, fleet manager, and network infrastructure.

Validate speed limits, emergency stop functions, and safe.zone compliance.

Execute predefined UAT test cases covering all workflows.

Validate Support Document creation and implementation.

Coordination with vendor for technical guidance and Quote.

RFQ Preparation for AMR Implementation requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
