Senior Python Engineer
Role summary
Wizard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale backend systems for their AI agent. This role focuses on integrating AI capabilities into production-ready systems, building APIs, services, and data pipelines that connect LLMs and ML models to user experiences. The engineer will ensure performance, reliability, and scalability, collaborate with ML Engineers and Product teams, and debug production issues. Success means reliably delivered AI features through well-architected systems with strong observability and rapid iteration capabilities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend experience, strong Python proficiency, API design skills, and experience with ML systems in production.
The Role

The expected base salary range for this role is $200,000–$225,000 USD and will vary based on skills, experience, role level, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined by considering these factors alongside overall role scope and responsibilities.
