This contract role can be located remote in the US, preference for Denver.

Job Summary:

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape and elevate enterprise service management capabilities within a dynamic technology environment. You will serve as a technical leader responsible for architecting and delivering sophisticated platform solutions that drive operational excellence and business transformation. Working at the intersection of technology and business strategy, you will leverage your extensive platform expertise to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet complex organizational needs. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance technical depth with governance awareness while fostering platform maturity and intelligent automation across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build solutions using platform best practices across ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Automation Engine, and custom applications

• Drive platform enhancements and continuous improvements to optimize system performance and user experience

• Develop and support integrations with third-party systems to enable seamless data flow and process automation

• Ensure solutions comply with platform governance standards while maintaining security and performance benchmarks

• Follow version control and release management protocols throughout the development lifecycle

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents while supporting change management through the SDLC process

• Apply expertise in AI capabilities including Now Assist, AI Agents, and Virtual Agent/NLU implementations

• Stay current with new platform releases and emerging features to identify innovation opportunities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to build team capability

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables

• Lead demos, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs with confidence and clarity

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and support artifacts

• Support and lead platform upgrades, patches, and health checks to ensure long-term system stability

• Apply structured problem-solving and critical thinking to evaluate whether processes should be automated

• Manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced, global environment

Skills:

• Deep technical expertise in platform architecture, design, and development

• Advanced proficiency in scripting, configuration management, and integration development

• Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules

• Experience with core platform capabilities and advanced development techniques

• Expertise in data management and CMDB architecture

• Proficiency with automation tools and AI-driven solutions

• Understanding of platform governance, security standards, and performance optimization

• Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, or modern frameworks such as React/Angular

• Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure and AWS fundamentals

• Familiarity with SSO/SAML, OAuth, and certificate management

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities

• Effective time management and prioritization skills in distributed team environments

Previous Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, ideally within a large technology

company

• 6+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer with exposure to various modules, integrations, and configuration management

• Global delivery experience leading distributed teams across international locations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly desired
