Role summary

Workstate is seeking a US-based remote Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in driving successful project delivery and maintaining high-quality standards within the software development lifecycle. The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, active learning, mentoring, and client relationship management to ensure project alignment with client goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in technical program management, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and proficiency in risk management and conflict resolution. A background in software development or engineering is preferred.

### Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated some of the following skills professionally, but not necessarily all:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, specifically in technical environments
  • Proven experience in managing software development projects from inception to delivery
  • Large program experience involving multiple engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise communication for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in risk management and conflict resolution
  • A background in software development or engineering is preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
