Architectural Designer
Role summary
xAI is seeking an Architectural Designer to lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of data center facilities and infrastructure. This role involves collaborating across engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver integrated, compliant designs within aggressive timelines. Responsibilities include supporting the design and construction of advanced data centers and AI infrastructure, developing Basis of Design documents and RFQ packages, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, active architectural licensure, and 2+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, specifically in data center development within high-tech environments. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp is required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Architectural Designer for the Data Centers, you will lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of facilities and infrastructure solutions for xAI's data centers and site builds. Drawing on expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder projects, you'll collaborate across engineering, procurement, construction, and business teams to deliver integrated, compliant designs that align with aggressive timelines and innovation goals. This position reports to the Facilities Leadership team and is an opportunity that requires travel to different locations and cross-site collaboration.
