Network Security Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Provide network security operations and support across enterprise environments.
• Monitor, manage, and control network security devices and systems using automated security management tools.
• Open, update, and close incident tickets following established procedures, ensuring timely resolution of security events.
• Configure, test, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPNs, and other critical network security devices.
• Operate and maintain wide-area networking (WAN) infrastructure.
• Utilize Network Security Operations Center (NSOC) components, including trouble-ticket systems, client databases, network analyzers, and security monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and respond to incidents efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong ability to work under pressure, including flexible schedules (nights/weekends) and occasional international travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network security principles, public-key infrastructure (PKI), and other contemporary security technologies.
• Experience with UNIX or UNIX variants and scripting languages such as PERL or PHP.
• Familiarity with routing, firewall, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
