Role summary
Xenon Arc is seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to build and maintain R&D and technical relationships with strategic customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor. The TPM will be the primary technical contact for clients, handling troubleshooting, product selection, and training. Job Summary
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) is responsible for building and maintaining strong R&D and technical relationships with strategic customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor. The TPM serves as the primary technical point of contact for the client team supporting customer troubleshooting, product selection, and training. They act as the technical liaison with our client and help shape market / product insights and weave those into targeted growth campaigns in alliance with the Commercial Leader for the business. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, customer relationship skills, and a problem-solving mindset

Essential Job Duties
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term R&D relationships with Strategic + Mainstay customers to understand their technical and business needs
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing proactive guidance to help customers maximize the value of the company’s solutions
- Collect and document customer feedback to identify trends and drive continuous improvement of product solutions & recommendations
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues and troubleshooting
- Develop a deep understanding of the products and market segments Technical Product Manager
- Technical Training:
- Deliver regular technical training sessions to customers & internal XTPR team on key products
- Act as a technical conduit for XTPR team & client
- Create and maintain technical guides to assist customers & team through troubleshooting & product selection
- Market Intelligence & Growth Campaigns:
- Develop targeted growth campaigns into key applications & market segments that target & drive new customer growth
- Continuously maintain a deep knowledge of market insights within the customer base & broader macro market
- Generate revenue and profits by assisting clients with product related technical questions, troubleshooting and product information.
- Collaborate with customer Account Managers to provide technical support to new or existing customers by solving food industry product development and process development problems.
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans to identify steady pipeline of prospects
- Ensure that team delivers product development and process development compelling technical presentations to drive sales
- Utilize deep technical acumen to educate the team on industry, products and competitors
- Partner with internal marketing team to utilize customer insights to contribute to product roadmap with defined sales increase goal
- Utilizing CRM platform to capture customer-related data and daily activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Material Science, or applicable technical background
- Proven experience as a Technical Account Manager, or Technical Product Manager
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex product technology & applications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive customer-first approach
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- 5-7 years of technical sales support commercial account managers combined with developing accounts
- Preferred: experience with ingredients, starches, sweeteners, or related from a technical development role combined with strong sales acumen, any distribution experience is highly valued

Location & Commitments

- Reports to HQ office in Bellevue, WA
- Work schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home
