UI/UX Designer (Wordpress Websites - High Volume)
Role summary
We are seeking a temporary UI/UX Designer to lead the interface design for a network of content-driven websites. The role focuses on enhancing usability, ensuring consistency, and developing scalable design systems. Responsibilities include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, adhering to responsive and accessible standards, and collaborating with implementation teams. Experience with content-heavy sites and a strong understanding of web design principles are required. Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and basic HTML/CSS knowledge are preferred. This is a remote, temporary position with a flexible schedule.
Role Summary
We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer to lead the design and evolution of user interfaces across a network of content-driven websites. This role focuses on usability, consistency, and scalable design systems that can be implemented across multiple brands and verticals.
What You’ll Do
- Design UX/UI improvements for news and content-focused websites
- Create and maintain a scalable design system (components, patterns, guidelines)
- Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs (Figma or similar)
- Ensure responsive and accessible design standards
- Collaborate with implementation teams on feasibility and handoff
- Continuously improve UX based on performance and feedback
Required Experience
- Strong UX/UI design experience for web platforms
- Experience designing for content-heavy or editorial sites
- Proficiency in Figma or similar tools
- Understanding of responsive design and usability principles
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for scalable systems or multi-brand environments
- Familiarity with CMS-driven platforms (WordPress is a bonus, not a job requirement)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (for collaboration, not execution)
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
