Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Lead Data Scientist. The Lead Data Scientist will design and implement advanced data models to analyze Y Combinator startups and generate actionable insights. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end data pipelines, conducting statistical analyses, creating compelling data visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role also involves mentoring junior data scientists and ensuring the accuracy and scalability of the analytics infrastructure.
Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Data Science, including machine learning and predictive modeling
  • Proficiency in Statistics and hypothesis testing to conduct quantitative analyses
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Analysis methods to extract insights from complex datasets
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools to present findings effectively
  • Proven ability to design and manage data pipelines
  • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields
