Lead UI Designer / Director, Visual Design / Lead Digital Product Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled
UI/Visual Design Leader
to create intuitive, visually compelling, and scalable digital experiences. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces aligned with design systems, while driving best practices in UI design, accessibility, and user-centered design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clean, modern, and pixel-perfect user interfaces aligned with established design systems
- Collaborate with XD, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences
- Create scalable, reusable design assets for pattern libraries and developer handoff
- Apply and advance UI/UX best practices, including accessibility, responsive design, and design standards
- Provide constructive design feedback and mentorship to team members
- Design for desktop, responsive web, and mobile platforms using modern design principles
- Balance industry best practices with innovative design approaches
- Contribute to design processes, tools, and standards improvements
- Work within Agile teams, contributing across multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities
- Communicate design decisions effectively and demonstrate their impact on business outcomes
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe team environment
Required Qualifications
- 7+ Years of experience in UI/visual design within an agency or enterprise environment
- Strong expertise in visual design fundamentals: typography, color, layout, composition, spacing, and motion
- Solid understanding of user-centered design and interaction design principles
- Experience designing for responsive web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in working with grids, breakpoints, and scalable design systems
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or regulated domains
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive design impact
- Experience mentoring designers and contributing to team growth
- A strong portfolio showcasing UI design across web, responsive, and mobile platforms, including problem-solving and design thinking
