Zenith Row has partnered with a high-growth technology consulting organisation to hire a Senior Data Engineer supporting multi-client data transformation engagements.
This is not a traditional engineering role.
You’ll operate as a client-facing consultant, helping organisations move from fragmented, unclear data landscapes → structured, usable, and governed analytics platforms.
You’ll work across the full lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through to delivery, often leveraging Microsoft Fabric and the Azure data stack.
The Role
This is a multi-client, consulting-led position, not a single long-term project.
You’ll work across discovery → design → implementation, owning both technical delivery and stakeholder engagement.

- Identify data silos, quality issues, and gaps and define improved future-state architecture
- Build and deliver ETL/ELT pipelines and transformations
- Integrate data across on-prem and cloud environments
- Deliver analytics outputs (e.g. dashboards) aligned to business needs
Consulting & Communication
- Engage directly with technical teams and senior stakeholders (including exec level)
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical solutions
- Produce client-ready outputs (architecture docs, data flows, implementation plans)
Internal Contribution
- Support effort estimation, project planning, and SOW inputs
- Optional involvement in Azure/Fabric community sessions or client-facing events
