Role summary
Zócalo Health is seeking a Senior Director of CalAIM Programs to lead the execution of ECM, Community Supports, and CHW programs across various geographies and health plans. This remote, full-time role reports to the COO and requires 10-12+ years of healthcare operations experience, including 5+ years managing managers in a distributed environment. The ideal candidate will have direct experience operating CalAIM programs in California, strong familiarity with Medicaid populations and workflows, and a proven ability to manage complex, high-variability environments. Responsibilities include ensuring consistent program execution, monitoring KPIs, leading teams, driving workflow adherence, and resolving operational issues. Preferred qualifications include experience in multi-plan environments, value-based care, and scaling operations in high-growth settings.

Role Description
The Senior Director of CalAIM Programs will join Zócalo Health during a period of rapid growth and increasing operational complexity. This role exists to ensure consistent execution of ECM, Community Supports (CS), and CHW programs across geographies and health plans.As part of a fast-growing team, you will be responsible for leading the execution layer of care delivery, ensuring workflows are created, updated, and followed, teams are accountable, and operational issues are surfaced and resolved quickly.
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
