AI Solutions Specialist
Role summary
Zocdoc is seeking an AI Solutions Specialist to design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows, prompts, and data pipelines. This hands-on role involves implementing prompt-based solutions and automations, evaluating model performance, and ensuring safe operation within a healthcare context. You will collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to execute AI features and experiments. Key responsibilities include prompt implementation, output validation, data preparation, experiment support, and documentation. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2-4 years in applied AI, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with AI development tools like Cursor or VSCode. A foundational understanding of LLMs and a strong analytical mindset are essential.

About the Role
As an Specialist AI Solutions, you’ll help design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows, prompts, and data pipelines that power Zocdoc’s operations and products. You’ll work closely with product, operations, and engineering partners to execute well-defined AI features, experiments, and automations that improve patient and provider experiences.
This is a hands-on role focused on implementing prompt-based solutions, pipelines, and small automations, while learning to structure problems, evaluate model performance, and operate safely in a healthcare context.
