Software Engineer II
Role summary
ZoomInfo is seeking a Software Engineer II to build, ship, and operate scalable backend services using Node.js/TypeScript. The role involves designing and implementing services and APIs, optimizing data access with MongoDB and Redis, and deploying to cloud environments (GCP/AWS) using Docker and Kubernetes. Key responsibilities include end-to-end feature ownership, testing, code reviews, CI/CD automation, and monitoring for reliability and performance. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in backend development, hands-on experience with relevant frameworks and databases, and familiarity with cloud platforms and observability tools. This is a hybrid role focused on delivering high-quality, secure, and well-documented code.

You’ll work mostly in Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS preferred), design APIs, optimize data access on MongoDB/Redis, and deploy to cloud (GCP preferred or AWS) with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.
