Software Engineer

### Who you are
- Are scrappy and you move fast
- Are jazzed to build backend services in Go
- Have some experience/exposure with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (Github actions, CodeDeploy, CircleCI), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

- Familiar with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards

### What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Platform team that delivers the services that provide the data to applications
- The ideal candidate will be excited to take on the challenge of processing, storing and delivering the entire health records of millions of patients, providing low latency and high-availability for all operations
- You are creative, innovative and love to run experiments to explore the paths to evolve and develop our platform as we scale
- The Platform team is at the heart of everything at Zus
- You will work on data services that operate on large scale data using a variety of AWS services (ECS Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc)
- You will also work on RESTful services that are used both internally and externally
- Go is our language of choice and the team is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and operating its pipelines and services
- Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs
- Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality
- Partner with product managers and other Zusers
