PHP Web Developer

Accuenergy Inc. is looking for an exceptional PHP Web Developer to expand our marketing team and help grow our marketing strategy. Candidates will need to have a strong command of PHP, SQL WordPress, and WooCommerce development environment.

This role will support the Marketing Department in the planning and implementation of web development projects. Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, and identify and execute improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and maintain company website using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Apache, Linux and other relevant technologies
• Plan and execute API integrations such as HubSpot, Zoho, Dynamics
• Utilize Bitbucket for version and source control
• Participate in meetings to provide project updates, issues, learnings, and ideas
• Manage and prioritize multiple project requests using Jira
• Document and organize all implementation procedures
• Develop testing process and procedure plan for implementations
• Refactor existing code to improve code design, structure, and implementation
• Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
• Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
• Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proficient in developing in PHP, MySQL, Apache, Linux (LAMP) environment
• Deep working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, & CSS
• Build custom WordPress/WooCommerce, Next.js themes and plugins
• Able to navigate Linux command line and Crontab
• Understand web hosting, domain registration, DNS, and SSL encryption.
• Experience with CDN and caching strategies.
• Work with APIs (e.g., HubSpot, MS Dynamics, payment gateways) to extend and develop applications
• Conduct code review for other developers
• Experience using Bitbucket / Git for source code control

About You:

· PHP and MySQL: 4+ years work experience

· JavaScript, HTML, CSS: 4+ years work experience

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
